Who are we?

Knotty Sounds is a team of game industry veterans, specializing in bringing audio solutions to adult media.

Our team consists of experienced composers, technical sound designers, and voice talent with extensive backgrounds in the game, animation, and film industries. We aim to elevate your project through immersive, and engaging sound solutions.

“Why should I work with you?”
Quality and reliability are two scarce resources we have an abundance of. With the majority of our team coming from the AAA production industry, making your product sound fantastic is the easiest part of our job. We guarantee not only to satisfy your ear holes, but to uphold a high standard of transparency, communication, and efficiency. Respecting you and your needs.

Why NSFW?

Working on big titles is great, however, we found that the NSFW market is notably underserved in the audio domain. Thus Knotty Sounds was born. With our goal to bring world-class sound to the wonderful world of adult games.

Do we use AI?

No.

While we have nothing against creating aural experiences for AI generated visual content, our voice recordings, sound design, technical solutions, and music come exclusively from lovely humany humans. This is not due to some sort of moral stance, the quality of AI tools simply doesn’t quite live up to our standards.

We are well versed in all that’s out there, so if you request it, we can still make use of AI, sacrificing some fidelity and dignity along the way, however, you will never be caught off guard, receiving a pack of shoddy voicelines, performed by a talking teleprompter, unless you like it that way…?

We might reply to rude emails with ChatGPT though.

“What if I’m making a game for the Atari 2600?”

We have shipped projects using: Unreal, Unity, Godot, Cryengine, Source, Despair, Game Maker, RPGMaker and many more. We’ve deployed to Windows, Mac, Linux, Ps4, Ps5, Android, iOS, Switch, your toaster, your smart fridge, and that interactive billboard at the bus stop. We can’t help you sorry.
